Mentoring Services

The credit union business model and the retail financial services marketplace are experiencing massive change and its up to the leadership to keep up and to seize the opportunities that this level of disruption provides. BIG’s mentoring and strategic service program can help you and your team beat back these challenges, seize the opportunity and achieve your credit union's strategic goals.

Strategy Services

Unparalleled Changes and Challenges

Credit union leadership is facing unparalleled strategic, cultural, competitive, economic, financial, technological and regulatory changes. Leading and creating a winning member value proposition and corporate growth strategy in this environment has never been more challenging.

A Change Resistent Culture

In addition, credit union leadership is far more difficult than for-profit (banking) management. Credit unions CEOs have to balance a risk adverse board, an unclear financial mandate (no center of financial gravity – like stock price), often a culture that is resistant to change and the demands of a changing membership, in order to grow.

While this environment may be challenging, the level of disruption caused by a changing financial services industry also represents an incredible opportunity to better serve the members needs, beat the banks, build your brand and win market share. This is our time to use strategy, the cooperative structure, our price/service advantage and new technologies to dominate local markets.
