This position is accountable for providing infrastructure design and support on hardware and software environments to include virtual systems, server systems, networks, load balancing systems and security systems. This position is responsible for critical issue resolution in hardware and software at the system level. This position requires skills for building relationships with client and client management and staff, analytical skills for investigation and reporting and strong leadership skills for development of programs that support the highest service and client satisfaction levels.

  • Install/Upgrade/Support and Maintenance of virtualization infrastructure and ancillary, network, server and storage systems.  
  • Designs solutions for complex computing, delivering highly available systems.
  • Designs, builds and implements infrastructure systems for software applications.
  • Designs, builds and implements load balanced environments.
  • Assists with establishing criteria for evaluating solutions.
  • Monitors all systems for uptime, performance and stability.
  • Documents procedures, demonstrates support and monitoring tools and provides ad-hoc training.
  • Understands Financial Institution business processes and how financial systems communicate and work.
  • Acts as a technical resource for implementation team members.
  • Performs key tasks that require detailed technical and process knowledge of financial institution operations, IT services and systems, and financial systems.
  • Works cooperatively with 3rd party vendors for the prompt resolution to technical support issues, all of which require adherence to contractual service level commitments.
  • Answers complex questions and provides technical support to customers via telephone or through written correspondence.
  • Troubleshoots problems and ensures that installed network is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Works with Systems and Technology to ensure prompt problem resolution using network system tools, to ensure client or end-user functionality is within stated limits.
  • Upgrades system software and hardware components as required.
  • Applies best practices for performance tuning of systems maintained.
  • Understanding of load balanced environments.
  • Understanding of Cloud based computing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Attends regular staff meetings, communicate technical information verbally and written, follows up and researches questions and needed information, regularly interacts with managers and C-Level Executives.

Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience level may offset educational requirement.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field required.


  • Must be able to work well in a fast pace environment.
  • Must possess working knowledge of .NET applications and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2012) and Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and technical aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
